HISTORY
Jenn and Keith moved to Navarre Beach in 2015 with plans to build their new construction business. In the process of establishing themselves they couldn't find a home that suited their needs, they decided to showcase their talent by building their own custom home.
Jenn and Keith personally built their home from the ground up, working hands-on every day with nail guns in hand, meticulously paying special attention to the requirements of the Florida building code (and often exceeding them).
Neighbors and tourists often stopped by to watch the two-person team at work, frequently remarking that the home was the sturdiest home on the beach, confidently stating, "It's not going anywhere."
JKL Beachfront Builders grew through word of mouth, thanks to the exceptional quality and craftsmanship Jenn and Keith bring to each build.

ABOUT KEITH
BACKGROUND
Jenn grew up in New Hampshire, she began her career in health insurance and then moved onto banking where she worked her way up to Assistant Vice President of Operations. Jenn’s full initiation into building happened when their young family moved to northern NH. Jenn and Keith endeavored to build their own 3000 sf home in the northwoods. Jenn continued gaining her experience of building as they started a new business of cabin rentals and built three log cabins for lodging of snowmobilers, hikers and fishermen. Jenn continued working full time in banking, part time taking care of all aspects of the cabin rentals, as well as office work for their construction company. As the volume of building grew, she spent more time involved in the construction business and eventually started working full-time in construction.
AT JKL
Jenn has earned her Florida State Certified Building Contractor license. She is hands-on in every aspect of the build, from meeting with prospective clients, developing estimates, handling permit paperwork, working with subcontractors, job-site project review and taking part in any construction process. She has framed, roofed, sheet-rocked, finished trim-out, installed cabinets and tile, to name a few. Jenn possesses exceptional management skills which she utilizes daily coordinating workers, materials and timelines. She has an eye for detail and frequently recommends ways to improve design.
HOBBIES
When she’s not working, Jenn's hobbies include fishing, boating, painting, reading and spending time with family and friends. Jenn also enjoys time at the family summer cottage in Boothbay Maine.
BACKGROUND
Keith was born and raised in New Hampshire where his family and extended family helped groom him in the construction industry from a young age. He chose to attend a technical college to pursue his other passion in automobiles. He received an associates degree in automotive and diesel technology from Universal Technical Institute. He was hired by an Acura dealership in NH prior to graduating where he worked his way up to Master technician.
In 1996, Keith decided that he would prefer working in the building industry and keep his passion for automobiles to a hobby. He started his own business where he was working with and subcontracting for mostly family for about a year to get back into the swing of things. While self-employed in southern NH, Keith worked on everything from decks and remodels, to new home construction.
In 2001, Keith moved his family to northern NH for a simpler, better quality of life. Here he continued building additions, new homes, cottages, commercial buildings and log homes. Log homes is where Keith's craftsmanship and attention to detail were put to the test. Precise cutting, fitting and scribe work are required to build quality log homes and here he excelled.
In 2015, their children had both graduated high school and were off to college, so it was an opportunity to make a move to warm weather. Keith and his wife Jenn moved to Navarre Beach to start the construction of their own beach home. While his home was under construction Keith worked to obtain his Florida State Certified General Contractor license and in January 2016 started JKL Beachfront Builders.

Keith has extensive hands-on knowledge and construction experience. He expects only the best quality from workers and possesses the construction skills to get positive results. Quality and craftsmanship are his top priorities.
HOBBIES
In his spare time Keith enjoys boating and fishing in the Gulf. His passion for mechanics continues and he enjoys working on automotive projects.
